In only a couple short years after winning the porn reality television show The Sex Factor, porn star Blair Williams has amassed 97 videos, according to IAFD.com. She talked with DazedDigital.com about her rise in porn and her life, before and after. Before she auditioned for the show, Blair worked as a live-in nanny and church pre-school teacher, who only lost her virginity a year ago. After, she still is religious, but isn’t teaching Sunday school. “I still believe in God. Religion doesn’t condemn you; the people who follow it obsessively do. If I went back to my church, I feel like I couldn’t tell people what I do without being taken into a back room for a fucking exorcism. I have a problem with people who like to speak on behalf of God. They place their fear of sexuality onto me. People use religion as a weapon because they’re uncomfortable with themselves.”
And you might not believe it, because stereotypes might tell you otherwise, but Blair is educated. And after being outed by her stepfather, struggles with the stigma of being labeled a dumb blonde in porn. “What’s hardest for my mom is the stigma around my intelligence or capability as a person because of my job,” she said. “I’m college-educated and had an academic scholarship – how else can I prove that my career was a thought-out decision? There’s this idea that I’m not using my brain the way I’m supposed to, when really, I’m using the tools I have to succeed in a job, just like any other job.” But that all isn’t stopping Blair. She is committed to porn. “My plan is keep shooting porn until it doesn’t make me happy, or it’s no longer physically sustainable, whenever that may be. I see myself retiring early, having enough money to support myself and live comfortably, and just volunteering for the rest of my life. For now, I just want to do work that’s going to break the stigma of my profession – I want to demystify Blair Williams.”

Crystal Bassette, 33, was porn star Nadia Hilton for ten years, appearing in more than 100 adult films, before leaving porn in May 2014, after a car crash and a DUI charge. That’s when Crystal found God. “The day I was saved, I felt like the preacher was just speaking to me directly. It was like he was preaching to only me and you know that day I felt God was talking to me through his preaching and everything he said felt right,” she said. Now, while you might be thinking of calling bullshit on Crystal, she left the porn industry making up to $300,000 a year (according to Crystal), to go back to college to become a paralegal and train as a pastor. Yeah, a lot less money. As to her decade in porn, she said, “It just became like this daily routine for me where I would drop my son off to school in the morning, go do a shoot and come home. It was like a regular 9-to-5 job. I just lived for myself and my son and didn’t really think about the consequences of making films and dancing and everything.”
Quickly after leaving porn, Crystal got married. She went to her sister’s church, and met her husband, David, the pastor. “He’d known about my past for years because my sister was going to his church,” said Crystal. She married David, 26, in December 2014. The Lord does work in mysterious ways. (Though we suspect David watched a lot of Nadia Hilton porn leading up to their fateful meeting.) The two founded their own church, called New Beginnings Christian Life. “I’m not worried about my outlook appearance. I’m not worried about money. Now I’m worried about helping people,” she said. Crystal doesn’t regret her life as Nadia, however. “My past made me who I am today and God has changed my life completely,” she said. Her message to others: “What I would like people to take away from us is that God can forgive you no matter what past you come from. I hope it encourages everybody else to do the same, to realize that money and fame isn’t what it’s about. I look back at my past now and you know I can’t say that I really regret anything because it has made me who I am today.” When she was in porn, Nadia was a 34DD-26-32 blonde. Wait, what was the name of that church again?

Dutch porn star Kim Holland, who reportedly “promoted” a porn film shot in a church in Tilburg, Netherlands, is facing a huge Christian backlash. The church has since been declared “unholy” and was closed for several days through Sunday, until a special cleansing service where the building was sprinkled with holy water (for the sins committed or just to get the stank smell of dried porn pussy juice out of the air). Kim said producer Peter Visser was an atheist who “saw the church as a very ordinary place” and “completely underestimated the reaction from commenters,” according to Christian news website Church Militant. But she added, “He knows he should not have done it. We regret it very much.” What he did was film a couple having hardcore sex in the confessional corner of St Joseph’s. As a result of the public outcry, Kim has agreed not to release the footage. It is still not clear if the church will take any legal action against Kim and the producer however. Father Jan van Noorwegen, pastor of St. Joseph’s, was shocked when he heard of the film. He said, “I do not know how they got in; the gate is only open a few hours a day. But then there are always people in the church. No one saw anything.” A spokesman for the parish added, “We live in modern times but this went too far.” Kim is officially retired, so it is not clear if she did any performing in the film. But back in the day…
