We begin another season of #PornStarMadness. It is our third year in a row (others may imitate, but we are the original). Kendra Sunderland dominated the field in 2015. Brandi Love still gets retweets from her huge win in 2016. And it is a sure bet that both powerhouses will be returning this year, when we announce our bracket seeding on Selection Sunday in a couple days. But this year we’ve seen a lot of shake ups in the porn world, and getting to our final 64 porn stars will be difficult. Some huge favorites have retired in the last year, like Mia Khalifa. The newcomers are a damn fine and outstanding group. Every year we take some heat for our selections, and yes, opinions are like assholes, everybody’s got one, and we have ours. We try to minimize the arbitrariness, and we’ll explain the selection process (again) on Sunday with the final brackets. For now, it is all about the pre-selection hype. About the Number 1 seeds this year. Who is in? Who is out? What will this year’s matchups look like? Every active porn star is in the running as of today. So if you want to keep your favorite in, shout them out. We’re still looking at the rankings, the statistics, the social media pages, so let us know. #PornStarMadness has officially begun.

We love porn stars. And this year, SKINN & SKINN’s Porn Star Madness returns for its second year. The same as last year, for this march madness, we are ditching basketball and focusing on the girls we love in porn. This year, while the rules are the same, we see a number of new faces in the tournament and it is going to be porn star madness for weeks. Here’s how the selection and seeding process worked. We selected the top 64 girls in porn (we know, that’s arbitrary), who are still active. So this year saw some huge retirements, like Siri, who unfortunately is no longer eligible. We used PornHub.com’s porn star rankings to seed the first 1-34 spots. And then used PornHub, Twitter, FreeOnes and Barelist, in addition to our editorial porn discretion to seed the last 35-64 seeds. It is hot. Mia Khalifa and Madison Ivy return this year as Number 1 Seeds, along with Riley Reid and Dillion Harper. Cinderella Number 16 Seeds went to Melissa Moore, for a great matchup with her doppelgänger, Rile Reid, and Abby Lee Brazil, Alex Grey and Cameron Canela also made the tournament. Last year, we put Farrah Abraham into the brackets, but not this year. We also passed on Kim Kardashian again. But Tila Tequila was huge this year and an unavoidable addition. Of course there were a lot of deserving porn stars that did not get seeded. You can’t please everyone and we’re not even going to try.
But we will say that the matchups this year are even better than last year. Dani Daniels will go head-to-head with Kissa Sins in the first round, as Dillion Harper faces Abby Lee Brazil, Alexis Texas takes on Jaclyn Taylor, Ava Addams and Eva Notty matchup, as well as August Ames and Alexis Addams, and Audrey Bitoni goes up against Nikki Benz. In the East, there is the potential for a Rain-Rain matchup, with Romi Rain going against Megan Rain, but Megan has a tough road starting with Number 3 Seed Mia Markova to even get a chance to face off against Romi, if they both made it to the Erotic 8. Newcomer Cameron Canela will face industry powerhouse Madison Ivy, so we send out best wishes to both; we are keeping an eye out here for a potential huge upset. Let the madness begin.
Now rules. We start on March 17. The winner will be determined by the most combined retweets and favorites that day. So expect your favorite porn stars to tweet their best images. You can fill out your brackets and either tweet them to us @sinnandskinn or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The person who predicts the result 100% — you gotta get them all correct — will win $1,000.
